This new Law provides the necessary support to the set of efforts that local universities have put in over the last decades to consolidate Cochabamba as a “University City”, as is the case of the UPAL characterized by its quality educational service and by his deep sensitivity in the integral formation of the being, as well as his vocation to warmly welcome not only students from the department, but also from the interior and exterior of the country.

The measures resulting from said Law will not only improve conditions and scenarios in the field of higher education, but also boost the economy of the region, positively impacting families and the population in general.

The UPAL, following its vocation of service, is preparing to carry out this important work for the benefit of the population, awaiting coordination with the pertinent instances of the Ministry of Health in which this joint effort will allow to create ever better conditions for the optimal performance of higher education, which, added to the effort and experience of universities like ours, will make Cochabamba one of the best educational options in the country.
