A. Admission requirements for Bolivian students are as follows:
Legalized photocopy of the Bachelor’s Degree legalized by the issuing University or SEDUCA.
Original Birth Certificate.
Photocopy of valid Identity Card.
Two color photographs 3 X 3 cm. beige or light background.
A. The admission requirements for foreign students to UPAL are:
1.- Photocopy of high school diploma or equivalent document that enables you to pursue higher education, legalized by:
Option 1
– Apostille Procedure (DS. 3541 of April 25, 2018) in the country of origin
Option 2
– Ministry of Education of the Country of Origin
– Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Country of Origin
– Bolivian Consulate in the Country of Origin
– Ministries of Foreign Affairs in Bolivia (Foreign Ministry)
(both options are valid)
2.- Original Birth Certificate or Photocopy, legalized by:
Option 1
– Apostille Procedure (DS. 3541 of April 25, 2018) in the country of origin
Option 2
– Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Country of Origin
– Bolivian Consulate in the Country of Origin
– Ministries of Foreign Affairs in Bolivia (Foreign Ministry)
(both options are valid)
3.- Photocopy of the passport with valid student VISA or legal residence in Bolivia
4.- Two 3 x 3 size photographs with beige or light background
R. 1.- Certificate of Original Notes issued by the University of Origin
2.- Original or legalized photocopy of the Analytical Program of each subject to be validated
3.- Simple photocopy of the Study Plan of the career studied at the University of Origin
4.- Photocopy of the express resolution that authorizes the opening and operation of the degree course taken at the University of Origin
* Validation will only be accepted from two Universities and you must bring the documentation from both Universities of Origin separately.

Option 1

– The competent educational authority of the country of origin
– Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Country of Origin
– Bolivian Consulate in the Country of Origin
– Ministries of Foreign Affairs in Bolivia (Foreign Ministry)

2.- Original or photocopy of the Analytical Program of each subject to be validated legalized by the authority that issued them in the country of origin:
Option 1
– Apostille Procedure (DS. 3541 of April 25, 2018) in the country of origin
Option 2
– The competent educational authority of the country of origin
– Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Country of Origin
– Bolivian Consulate in the Country of Origin
– Ministries of Foreign Affairs in Bolivia (Foreign Ministry)
* Validation will only be accepted from two Universities and you must bring the documentation from both Universities of Origin separately.
* Transfer students from foreign Universities, where the official language is not Spanish, will present the documents with an official translation into Spanish.
– Letter addressed to the Rector requesting the validation of subjects.
– Original certificate of grades, analytical programs and hour loads of the subjects studied, duly foliated and legalized by the university of origin.
– Certificate of good conduct issued by the university of origin.
– Simple photocopy of the decision to open a career from the university of origin.

A. Yes, the University has different agreements with foreign universities, which are constantly updated, if you want more information about it, go to B.U. (Welfare university).
A. You must take care of this procedure personally; however, UPAL offers guidance on procedures and has a database of trusted professionals, with whom you can be contacted, if you wish, so that you can carry out your VISA procedures and other documents that you require.
