UPAL INVESTES 21 MILLION BOLIVIANS IN THE FIRST SELF-SUSTAINABLE AND HEATED UNIVERSITY BUILDING IN ORURO
This Tuesday, February 9, the Latin American Open Private University, UPAL, through its main national authorities, presented the project of its next educational building and the start of works in the city of Oruro, a challenge that once again highlights the notorious participation of said House of Higher Studies in our environment, pointing towards the generation of increasingly better conditions to accompany the higher quality training for our young people, also contributing significantly to the development of our city and our department.
According to the information provided, the building projected with an investment of 21 million bolivianos, is highly innovative in our environment because it is self-sustaining and air-conditioned, under an accurate management vision that contemplates the University Social Responsibility approach. It will have 12 floors and a total of 4,000 square meters built with environments equipped with avant-garde furniture, ramps and accesses for people with different capacities, two libraries and study rooms, 3 operating rooms, surgical operating rooms and classrooms with capacities with protocols and regulations. international.
The UPAL stands out for being a benchmark in Higher Education at the national and international level and the prompt construction of the new building constitutes one more step in this line, which will be complemented in the future even more challenging projects.
The authorities present highlighted the determined commitment of the UPAL to generate spaces and conditions at the height of the academic challenges and achievements, one of the most outstanding being the role of UPAL graduates, especially in the area of health sciences during the period of the Pandemic due to COVID 19, a true incentive and commitment to this beautiful land of Oruro.
The academic offer of the UPAL in Oruro includes the careers of Medicine, Biochemistry and Pharmacy, Physiotherapy and Kinesiology, Nursing, Dentistry, Psychology, Strategic Business Administration, Commercial Engineering, Financial Engineering and Law and has become a true benchmark in education superior for students from the city of Oruro as well as from the rest of the country and neighboring countries.
