LATIN AMERICAN OPEN PRIVATE UNIVERSITY
Cochabamba. – The Dentistry program at the Latin American Open Private University (UPAL) continues to strengthen its international profile thanks to student mobility programs and a solid network of international partners supported by the institution.
Currently, students can study a semester abroad at universities in Mexico (4), Brazil (3), Peru, Costa Rica, and soon Colombia, broadening their academic and personal horizons.
Over the past year, several UPAL Dentistry students have participated in academic exchanges in countries such as Mexico and Brazil, standing out for their performance and adaptability in international clinical and academic settings.
These opportunities not only promote high-quality education but also help students strengthen their intercultural, scientific, and technical competencies. The university keeps its doors open so more students can benefit from access to these opportunities at affiliated institutions.
Moreover, programs accredited by MERCOSUR have the possibility of joining the Regional Academic Mobility Program “MARCA,” which encourages participation in joint projects between universities from three or more countries, facilitating the mobility of students, teachers, researchers, and academic coordinators.
This type of experience reaffirms UPAL’s commitment to modern, global education aligned with the highest international standards, positioning its students as competitive professionals prepared to face the challenges of dentistry at an international level.
